A member of the color guard, winter guard, show choir and theatre programs at Camdenton High School in Camdenton, Missouri, Hattie was immersed in the arts from a young age, finding a love for pageantry through competing in Bands of America and Winter Guard International. Now a middle school teacher, she holds a BA from the University of Missouri and is currently pursuing a MA in Gifted Education from Truman State University. In 2025, Hattie was a member of the prestigious Bluecoats Fellowship program as the Fellow in Costume Design.

Working with clients in Missouri, Illinois, Florida, and Texas, Hattie has worked on projects from show logos and branding to whole aesthetic packages (including band uniforms, guard costumes, flags, and set pieces). She is the Brand Manager for Heat Wave Drum and Bugle Corps in Safety Harbor, Florida, and has credits in all three major pageantry circuits (Drum Corps International, Bands of America, and Winter Guard International).

Hi there — I’m Hattie. I’m excited to dig into whatever project you have for us to work on together. I want to assure you that none of my work involves the use of Generative AI, ever. I believe in the integrity of human artists and am committed to bringing you a fully human product. The majority of elements in my work are hand-drawn and painted digitally and are supplemented by text or licensed collections, such as those in Canva. You will never find AI elements in my art pieces.

I am grateful to be considered and am looking forward to what we will create together!

Hattie Bartlett is a costume and aesthetic designer based out of Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri.
